A Power of Attorney (PoA) is an official document by which one or more natural or legal persons (the principal) grant another natural or legal person or persons (the attorney) the authority to act on their behalf in specific legal or financial matters.
1. Draft the text of the PoA — in Arabic or with an official translation (see ready-made templates). The PoA must be either in Arabic only or bilingual (Arabic and English) to be accepted by a notary public. After that, the document may be officially translated.
2. Prepare the required documents (passport and Emirates ID of the principal, details/passport of the attorney, etc.).
3. Book an appointment with a notary (currently, this can be done electronically)
4. Pay the notarial fee (the amount depends on the service and the notary).
