The Minister of the Interior

- Having regard to Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministers and the Powers of Ministries, as amended;

- Federal Law No. 12 of 1976 concerning the Police and Security Forces, and its amendments;

- Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2019 concerning Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives, Military Equipment and Hazardous Materials;

- National Security Adviser Decision No. 59 of 2020 concerning the Executive Regulations for Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2019 concerning Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives, Military Equipment and Hazardous Materials,

has decided:

For the purposes of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each, unless the context requires otherwise:

State: the United Arab Emirates.

Ministry: the Ministry of the Interior.

Minister: Minister of the Interior.
