- Based on the proposal put forward by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and with the approval of The Cabinet,

Chapter One - Definitions and General Provisions
Article (1) - Definitions
The definitions set out in Federal Decree-Law No. (14) of 2024 on the regulation of road traffic shall apply to this Decision, and, save where otherwise provided, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each of them, unless the context otherwise requires:
- Competent authority: The federal or local authority responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements and obligations set out in the provisions of this Decision.
