Minister for Sport:
- Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (36) of 2021 on trade marks and Federal Decree-Law No. (6) of 2023 on sport.
- and Federal Decree-Law No. (28) of 2024, amending certain provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers.
- Pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (46) of 2024 issuing the executive regulations for Federal Decree-Law No. (4) of 2023 on sport.
- Pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (22) of 2025 approving the organisational structure of the Ministry of Sport.
- In accordance with the requirements of the public interest.
It has been decided:
Article (1)
Scope of Application
The provisions of this decision shall apply to all well-known sports organisations in the State that register trade marks with the competent authorities; each such organisation shall be required to notify the Ministry of Sport of these trade marks in accordance with the regulations and procedures set out in this decision.
