Ministerial Decision No. 520 of 2026 Concerning the amendment of certain provisions of Ministerial Decision No. 557 of 2008 regarding the Executive regulation Federal Decree-Law No. 37 of 2006 on Private Security Companies

Minister of the Interior,

Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the powers of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, and amendments thereto,

and Federal Decree-Law No. (12) of 1976 concerning the police and security forces, as amended,

and Federal Decree-Law No. (37) of 2006 on private security companies, and its amendments,

and Ministerial Decision No. (557) of 2008 concerning the Executive regulations of the Federal Decree-Law Decree No. (37) of 2006 concerning private security companies,
Has decided:

Article 1

1. Replaces certain definitions set out in Article (1) of Ministerial Decision No. (557) As referred to above, as follows:
   1. The General Directorate of Police is replaced by the General Command of the Police: General Command of the Police In every emirate.
