Cabinet Decision No. 147 of 2026 Concerning the extension of the period for rectifying the status of persons subject to the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on the Reduction of Climate Change Effects

The Cabinet:

• having reviewed the Constitution;
• Federal Decree-Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
• Pursuant to Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on Mitigating the Effects of Climate Change;
• Following the proposal put forward by the Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, and with the approval of the Cabinet,

has decided:

Article 1

The transition period provided for under Article 18 of Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on mitigating the effects of climate change is hereby extended, for a period of one year from May 31, 2026.

Article 2

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on the day following the date of its publication.
