The document ratifies the Agreement on Trade in Services and Investment between the UAE and Belarus, which establishes a free trade area in services between the Parties in accordance with Article V of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS).
The Agreement covers the four principal modes of supplying services: cross-border supply, consumption abroad, commercial presence and the presence of natural persons. In sectors where specific commitments are undertaken, it establishes rules on market access and national treatment, subject to the limitations and conditions recorded in each Party's Schedule of Specific Commitments.
