- Having reviewed Abu Dhabi Law No. 1 of 2025 concerning the Reorganisation of the Abu Dhabi General Customs Administration;
- Federal Decree No. 15 of 2022 ratifying the Unified Customs Code (Law) of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, its Executive Regulations and amendments thereto;
- Cabinet Decision No. 45 of 2009 concerning Customs Service Fees and its amendments;
- and for reasons dictated by the interests of the work,
has hereby decided:
Competent Department: General Directorate of Customs – Abu Dhabi.
Competent Section: Customs Licensing Section.
Competent Authority: The authority authorised to issue economic licences to companies.
Customs Registration Number: A number issued by the administration to Individuals or companies for the import and export of goods, which is used during the clearance process.
Approved Digital Platform: An integrated smart platform that provides customs services to users digitally to facilitate trade.
