- Having reviewed Abu Dhabi Law No. 1 of 1974 on the Reorganisation of the Government Apparatus in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as amended;
- Abu Dhabi Law No. 6 of 2024 concerning the Judiciary in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
- Crimes and Penalties Law, promulgated by Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021, as amended;
- Criminal Procedures Law, promulgated by Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2022;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 24 of 2023 on the Combating of Human Trafficking;
- Abu Dhabi Decision of the Chairman of the Judicial Department No. 3 of 2020 concerning the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court,
has hereby decided:
1. A specialised court shall be established in the city of Abu Dhabi to hear cases of human trafficking. It shall be known as the ‘Human Trafficking Court’ and shall be attached to the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court.
2. The Human Trafficking Court shall comprise a specialised Public Prosecution Service to investigate violations of human trafficking, and specialised courts of first instance and appeal to hear such ca...
