Cabinet Decision No. 94 of 2026 concerning the Implementation of the Provisions of Chapter V of the Financial and Bankruptcy Law

Cabinet:

- Having reviewed the Constitution;

- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;

- Federal Decree-Law No. 51 of 2023 Promulgating the Financial and Bankruptcy Law;

- and pursuant to the proposal submitted by the Minister of Justice and with the approval of the Cabinet,

has hereby decided:

Article 1 – Application of the Provisions of Part V of the Financial and Bankruptcy Law

The provisions of Part V of the Financial and Bankruptcy Law referred to herein shall apply to proceedings for preventive settlement, restructuring or the declaration of bankruptcy arising from the Iranian acts of aggression against the State, with effect from February 28, 2026 until the date on which a decision is issued by the Cabinet upon the proposal of the Minister of Justice.

Article 2 - Publication and Enforcement

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and come into force on the date of its issuance; all relevant authorities shall implement it.
