Director General of the Legal Affairs Department of the Government of Dubai
- Having reviewed Clause (5) of Article 15 of Dubai Law No. 32 of 2008 on the Establishment of the Department of Legal Affairs of the Government of Dubai, which stipulates the Department’s jurisdiction to Licence the legal profession and Law Firms and Legal Consultancy Offices, to supervise their operations, and to issue the necessary regulations, rules and Decisions in this regard;
- Dubai Law No. 8 of 2016 regarding the Regulation on granting the judiciary status within the Government of Dubai, and its Executive Regulations;
- and the powers vested in the Legal Affairs Department of the Government of Dubai to regulate the legal profession and legal consultancy and to issue the regulations and instructions governing this;
- pursuant to Article 2 and Article 14 of Dubai Executive Council Decision No. 22 of 2011 concerning Fees and Fines Prescribed for the Advocacy and Legal Consultancy;
