As Abu Dhabi City Municipality always enhance EHS procedures at workplaces in building & construction sector in Abu Dhabi City. It is requested from all to comply with the following requirements:
Requirements
- A certificate of fulfilling safety requirements must be obtained from the Civil Defense for offices, labour rest area, storage areas and fuel tanks in construction sites.
- Firefighting system must be provided in offices and in storage areas, and to ensure its in good working order.
- Risk assessment and emergency plan shall be prepared for the fire prevention in construction sites.
- Contractors Must adhere to the non-smoking policy and provide smoking areas according to the requirements.
- Fire evacuation drill shall be conducted regularly in the offices and sites. (Record shall be available)
- Providing emergency entrances and exits and ensuring the presence of directional signs and emergency lights.
