The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 4 of 1996 regarding the General Civil Aviation Authority, as amended;
- Cabinet Decision No. 24 of 2005 regarding the Establishment of the National Committee for Civil Aviation Security and Facilitation;
- and based on the proposal submitted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority, and with the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
For the purposes of this Decision, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth opposite each, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Authority: The General Civil Aviation Authority.
Committee: The National Committee for Civil Aviation Security and Facilitation.
Chairman: The Chairman of the Committee.
