Chairman of the Board of Directors:
- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 28 of 2001 establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 5 of 2009 concerning Organic Inputs and Products;
- Ministerial Decision No. 84 of 2012 concerning the Executive Regulations of Federal Law No. 5 of 2009;
- and the UAE Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) issued by Decision No. 8 of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology for the year 2009
has decided the following:
The UAE System for the Certification of Organic Food Inputs and Products is hereby adopted.
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and this System shall come into force upon its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.
