Chairman of the Board of Directors:
- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 28 of 2001 establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology and its amendments;
- Cabinet Decision No. 30 of 2007 regarding the Adoption of the Mandatory UAE Standard No. 1785/2007 UAE.S GSO ‘Lubricating Oils for Internal Combustion Engines’;
- Chairman of the Board of Directors’ Decision No. 3 of 2011 approving the Regulations for the Control of in the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) using Module (B);
– and the decision of the Board of Directors at its meeting No. 2/2013 held on May 2, 2013 regarding the Adoption of the Amended Regulations for the Control of Internal Combustion Engine Lubricating Oils,
has decided the following:
1. To add re-refined used internal combustion engine lubricating oils or refined used oils used as base oils in the manufacture of internal combustion engine lubricating oils to the internal combustion engine lubricating oils registration programme
