Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2020 concerning Specifications and Standards;
- Cabinet Decision No. 13 of 2018 regarding Mandatory Standard Specifications for the United Arab Emirates;
- and based on the proposal of the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology;
- and with the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
The Technical Requirements for eCall in Vehicles (2024 UAE.S5019) shall be a mandatory technical regulation applicable in the United Arab Emirates.
The application of Standard No. (2018:5019 UAE.S), approved by Cabinet Decision No. 13 of 2018, is hereby abrogated.
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and come into force on the day following the date of its publication.
