Ministerial Decision No. 389 of 2022 On the Implementation of Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2019 Concerning Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives, Military Equipment and Hazardous Materials, and the Executive Regulation Thereof

The Minister of Interior,

- Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and powers of Ministers, and its amendments;

- Federal Law No. 12 of 1976 on Police and Security Forces, and its amendments;

- Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2019 on Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives, Military Equipment and Hazardous Materials; and

- National Security Advisor Decision No. 59 of 2020 Concerning the Executive Regulation of Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2019 on Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives and Military Equipment,

Hereby Decided the Following:

Chapter 1 - General Provisions

For the purposes of this Decision, the following terms and expressions shall bear the meanings ascribed to them herein, unless the context indicates otherwise:

State: The United Arab Emirates.

Ministry: The Ministry of Interior.
