• Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,
• Pursuant to Federal Decree-Law No. (6) of 2022 on co-operatives and its Executive regulations,
• Based on the presentation given by the Minister of the Ministry,

have decided the following :

Article (1)

Adoption of the Model Statutes

The “Model Articles of Association for Cooperative Unions” annexed to this Decision are hereby adopted, together with the rules and provisions contained therein, and shall be applied when drawing up or amending the articles of association of cooperative unions, provided that such actions do not conflict with its provisions.

Article (2)

Publication and Application of this Decision

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on the day following the date of its publication.
