Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai
Having regard to Law No. (2) of 2021 concerning the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and Executive Council Decision No. (21) of 2011 concerning higher education institutions in the Free Zones of the Emirate of Dubai, as amended, and its executive regulations,
have decided the following:
The words and expressions contained in this Decision shall have the meanings assigned to them in Executive Council Decision No. (21) of 2011; and the following words and expressions, wherever they appear in this Decision, shall have the meanings set out opposite each of them, unless the context of the text indicates otherwise:
Training provider: Any public or private organisation that provides practical training to students in accordance with the standards and regulations approved by the Authority in this regard.
Student: A natural person enrolled on a higher education programme at an educational institution.
