We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 promulgating the Civil Transactions Law of the United Arab Emirates, and its amendments;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and with the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
The attached Law concerning Civil Transactions shall come into force.
Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 promulgating the Civil Transactions Law of the United Arab Emirates, and its amendments, shall be abrogated.
This Decree-Law shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on June 1, 2026.
