Ministerial Decision No. 824 of 2015 Regarding the Annex on Pests, both plant and non-plant, subject to the regulations

Minister for the Environment and Water,

- Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the functions of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, and the laws amending it,

- Pursuant to the Agricultural Quarantine Law (Regulation) of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) States of 2003,

- Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (248) of 2003 concerning the Executive regulations of the Agricultural Quarantine Law (Regulation) of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC),

- And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (27) of 2013 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Environment and Water, In the public interest,

Has decided:

Article 1

The pests listed in Annex 1 to this Decision are considered to be quarantine pests, whilst those listed in Annex 2 are non-quarantine pests subject to the regulations.

Article 2

The Department of Health and Agricultural Development shall update Annex 1 and Annex 2 as required in the public interest.
