- Having reviewed Law No. (1) of 1969 concerning the establishment of the Municipality of Fujairah,
- and Federal Decree-Law No. (23) of 1999 concerning the utilisation, protection and development of the State’s living aquatic resources and its Executive regulations,
- And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (18) of 2012 concerning the scale of administrative penalties for breaches of decisions relating to living aquatic resources and fishery resources,
- and Ministerial Decision No. (216) of 2011 amending Ministerial Decision No. (542) of 2008 concerning procedures for the regulation of shark fishing,
We have issued the following circular:
Article (1)
The provisions of Ministerial Decision No. (500) of 2014 on the regulation of shark fishing and trade are being implemented, in line with the Ministry of Environment and Water’s commitment to achieving its strategic objectives regarding the regulation of the exploitation of living aquatic resources.
