- Having regard to Dubai Law No. 11 of 2010 on the Licensing of Maritime Vessels in the Emirate of Dubai;
- Dubai Law No. 3 of 2023 concerning the Dubai Maritime Authority;
- Dubai Executive Council Decision No. 11 of 2013 promulgating the Executive Regulations for Dubai Law No. 11 of 2010 on the Licensing of Maritime Vessels in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments;
- and the international treaties, agreements and federal legislation relating to the Investigation of maritime accidents and incidents,
have hereby decided the following:
The following words and expressions, wherever they appear in this Decision, shall have the meanings set out opposite each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: the United Arab Emirates.
Emirate: the Emirate of Dubai.
Ministry: Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Authority: Dubai Maritime Authority.
Director General: The Director General of the Authority.
