Administrative Decision No. 9 of 2023 concerning the Adoption of Regulations on Licensing

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Regulation of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Sector,

- Having reviewed Federal Decree-Law No. 3 of 2003 on the regulation of the telecommunications sector, its Executive Regulations and amendments thereto;

- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on Commercial Companies;

- Cabinet Decision No. 55 of 2021 concerning the Determination of the List of Activities of Strategic Importance;

- Administrative Decision No. 1 of 2008 concerning the Regulatory Framework for Licences;

- Administrative Decision No. 7 of 2008 concerning the Regulation of Licences;

- and based on the proposal submitted by the Director-General of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority and the approval of the Authority’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on March 9, 2023,

have decided the following:

Article 1

Licences relating to the telecommunications sector shall be regulated, issued and abrogated in accordance with the legal provisions set out in the document attached to this Decision.
