Having regard to Federal Decree-Law No. (29) of 2006 on the rights of persons with disabilities and its amendments, and Federal Decree No. (116) of 2009 concerning the ratification of the Comprehensive and Integral International Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities, and Cabinet Decision No. (7) of 2010 concerning the system of non-governmental organisations for the care and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, and Law No. (3) of 2003 concerning the establishment of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, and Law No. (12) of 2008 on the establishment of the Dubai Community Development Authority and its amendments, and Law No. (22) of 2008 establishing the Legal Affairs Department of the Government of Dubai,
This Act is known as the ‘Act No. 2 of 2014 on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai’.
