We, Saud bin Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Having examined the Civil Service Act 2003 and its amendments Subject to the approval of the Executive Council In the public interest We have therefore enacted the following Act:—
This Act is known as the (Ras Al Khaimah Government Human Resources Act).
For the purposes of applying the provisions of this Act, the following terms shall have the meanings set out opposite each one, unless the context of the text indicates otherwise:
State : United Arab Emirates.
The Emirate : Ras al-Khaimah.
The Governor : His Highness the Ruler of the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah.
The Government : The Government of Ras al-Khaimah.
Executive Council : The Emirate’s Executive Council.
Government Entity : Any department, institution or Authority belonging to the Government of Ras al-Khaimah and subject to this Law.
The President : Head of the Government Entity.
The Director : Director-General of the Government Entity.
