Federal Decree No. 178 of 2025 By ratifying the General Agreement on Electricity Interconnection To the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

The President of the United Arab Emirates,

We are Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

• having reviewed the Constitution،
• and Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the powers of Ministries and Ministers, as amended,
• Based on the proposal put forward by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, with the approval of The Cabinet and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,

We have outlined what lies ahead:

Article 1

The General Agreement on Electricity Interconnection for the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was signed on 23 March 2009, has been ratified; the text of the Agreement is attached.

Article 2

The Minister for Energy and Infrastructure shall implement this Decree from the date of its promulgation, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
