The Cabinet:
- having reviewed the Constitution،
- and Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2004 on Financial Free Zones,
- Pursuant to Federal Decree No. (15) of 2013 establishing a financial Free Zone in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,
- and Cabinet Decision No. (28) of 2007 concerning the Executive regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. (8) The Free Zones Act 2004, as amended,
- Pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (4) of 2013 concerning the determination of the location and area of the Abu Dhabi Global Market,
- Subject to the approval of The Cabinet,
Has decided:
Article (1)
The ‘Abu Dhabi Global Market’ site is being redeveloped on Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, covering an area of (1,488,417.94) square metres for Al Mariya Island and an area of (12,889,332.87) square metres for Al Reem Island, according to the maps Attached to this Decision.
Article (2)
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on the date of its publication.
