Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2023 on Combating Cheating and Breaches of Examination Regulations

• having reviewed the Constitution،
• and Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,
• Based on the proposal put forward by the Minister of Education, and with the approval of The Cabinet,

We have issued the following Decree-Law:

Article 1 - Definitions

For the purposes of this Decree-Law, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each of them, unless the context otherwise requires:

Ministry: Ministry of Education.

Government Entities: Federal Government and local government entities responsible for education, each within the scope of their respective remit.

Institutions: Government or private institutions at which a student is enrolled at any stage of general or higher education, including schools, universities, colleges, institutes and centres for continuing education.
