Ministerial Decision No. 617 of 2009 Regarding the technical and health requirements for veterinary pharmacies

Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, and the laws amending it.

and Federal Decree-Law No. (10) of 2002 concerning the practice of veterinary medicine and its Executive regulations.

And Cabinet Decision No. (21) of 2009 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Environment and Water and its amendments.

and Ministerial Decision No. (369) of 2008 concerning the requirements for the registration of non-medicinal products and animal feed, and their derivatives.

With the aim of regulating the business operations of veterinary pharmaceutical establishments in the State in accordance with the laws and regulations in force. In accordance with the requirements of the public interest.

An applicant seeking a veterinary licence to open a pharmacy must complete the relevant application form and submit the following documents:

1. A copy of the owner’s passport.
2. A copy of the tenancy agreement.
