Ministerial Decision No. 69 of 2019 Regarding the distribution of the foot-and-mouth disease vaccine in the State

Minister for Climate Change and the Environment

Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remits of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,

and Federal Decree-Law No. (10) of 2002 concerning the practice of veterinary medicine and its amendments,

and Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2013 on the prevention and control of infectious and epidemic animal diseases, and its Executive regulation,

and Federal Decree-Law No. (9) of 2017 on veterinary medicinal products

In accordance with the recommendations of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and in the public interest

Has decided:

Article (1)

The foot-and-mouth disease vaccine may be distributed in the State subject to the following conditions: -

1. The vaccine should contain the following key strains (A Iran 05, Asia 1 Shamir, O Manisa and O PanAsia 2). The following optional strains may be added to the vaccine (O1 BFS, SAT2 Eritrea, A Sau95 or A GVII 2015, O-3039)
2. Please attach certificates certified by the competent authorities in the country of origin or by a reference laboratory...
