Having regard to Federal Decree-Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amending laws, and Federal Decree-Law No. (10) of 2015 on food safety and its Executive regulations, And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (32) of 2017 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry, In the public interest,
Has decided:
The Electronic Food Register System (Zad) is adopted as the national system for the certification and registration of foodstuffs in accordance with the requirements and procedures set out in the Annex Annexed to this Decision.
The Competent Department within the Ministry shall update the annex attached to this Decision in line with any new developments, in coordination with the relevant local authorities.
The definitions of the words and phrases contained in are based on Law No. (10) of 2015 on food safety and its Executive regulations The Annex attached to this Decision.
