Grievance Mechanism Regarding the administrative penalties set forth in the list attached to Cabinet Decision No. 53 of 2021, applicable to violators of the provisions of Cabinet Decision No. 58 of 2020 concerning the regulation of ultimate beneficial owner procedures

Appeals procedure:

1. The appellant shall be granted the opportunity to lodge an appeal within thirty (30) days of the date on which they were notified of the administrative penalty Decision or became aware of it, pursuant to Article 18 of Decision No. (58) of 2020 concerning the regulation of procedures for the beneficial owner in accordance with the administrative penalties set out in the table attached to Cabinet Decision No. (53), which are imposed on offenders.
2. Appeals must be submitted using the appeal form available on the website.
3. Documents required:
   • A copy of the notice of offence
   • A copy of the business licence
   • A photograph for an UAE identity card
   • A copy of the company’s power of attorney authorising a party other than the holder of the Licence to lodge a complaint
   • Any other supporting documents
