The Cabinet:
- having reviewed the Constitution،
- and Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,
- and Federal Decree-Law No. (24) of 1999 on the protection and development of the environment, as amended,
- And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (37) of 2001 concerning the regulations for the Executive regulations for Federal Decree-Law No. (24) of 1999 on the protection and development of the environment,
- Based on the proposal put forward by the Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, and with the approval of The Cabinet,
Has decided:
Article (1)
The Environmental Impact Assessment System for Installations annexed to the aforementioned Cabinet Decision No. (37) of 2001 shall be replaced by the system annexed to this Decision, which shall be known as: the Environmental Impact Assessment System for Projects, Installations and Activities.
