Environmental Guidelines

1. The use of CFCs 11, 12, 113, 114 and 115, or their refilling in air-conditioners and refrigerators, is prohibited with effect from 1 January 1996.
2. All existing air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment that uses the gases mentioned above is subject to the following:
   • Ongoing maintenance to prevent gas leaks
   • Conversion to the use of authorised gases
   • Supplying it with gases from existing suppliers or recycled sources
3. Coolants must not be vented during maintenance
4. We must apply the principles of recycling, reuse and recovery during repair and maintenance
5. We must seek alternative refrigerants that have a low impact on the ozone layer and not limit ourselves to gases such as (R134a, R125, R143a, R22)
