Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. 1 of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, and the laws amending it,
Pursuant to Federal Decree No. (52) of 1990 ratifying the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal,
and Federal Decree-Law No. (24) of 1999 on the protection and development of the environment, as amended,
Pursuant to Federal Decree No. (77) of 2005 concerning the Protocol on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Other Wastes by Sea and Their Disposal,
In the public interest,
Has decided:
Article 1
Without written authorisation from the Ministry, it is prohibited to permit the passage or export of maritime, air or land transport carrying hazardous waste into the marine, atmospheric or terrestrial environment.
